Server failed to set license: QVS@mypc: Failed to connect to server

Hi,

I am getting the below error while appliying license. My internet connection is working fine and all the qlikview community pages are getting open. please help to resolve this issue.

The user that runs the services must be a member of the "QlikView Administrators" group that where created during install.

In order to deploy the userpolicy you also might need to log out and in again, or restart your machine.

Hi Karthi,

Make sure that the computer that hosts the QlikView Server services has full Internet access to the QlikView licensing server using port 80 and 4747.

If it's not possible to get them open because of security reasons, then ask your Account Manager in QlikTech for the license LEF file, and using this along with the serial number and control number you will be able to license your server offline.
