Tasks are not getting triggered

Hi,

We have created task chain which will run one after another.

Till yesterday it was working fine but all of sudden the dependencies tasks are not getting triggered.

Also I could not run the tasks directly, I need to schedule trigger to run it.

Please suggest if you have any workaround.

Regards,

Karthi

Hi,

Adding to the above information,

I could see the error

InformationFailed to send message to execution service. Message is removed from queue. Error details : (if (workorderResult.QDSeRotateResult) - SendSaveAllTasks) Failed to contact distributionservice

in management service log.

Hi,

There is a patch that fixes problems with "Server Task dependent on multiple other tasks is not triggering"

You will need to open a case with support to get the patch.

Hi Karthikeyan,

Even we got the same error. We got resolved by replacing the QVPR folder files in management service with the backup files.

For your information it will be available in C:\Programdata\qliktech\managementservice\QVPR.

the backup files will be in C:\Programdata\qliktech\managementservice\QVPR\backup

All finally the issue got resolved by changing chunksize value.

You have alternate ways as well,

As Bill said applying patches and as Prabha said restoring the QVPR backup.

We are currently experiencing the same error and triggers are not being started. We can run the applications manualy by disabling and enabling them first, but the errors keep piling up in the log. We've tried both putting back the backup QVPR files and changing the chunksize, but without success. Any other solutions available?

we are using qv 11.0.11326.0

Kind regards,

Maurice
