Upgrade from QVS v9 to v10 - opening files problem

Hello,

We had QVS v9 installed, uninstalled it and installed v10 SR1 on the server. Now we have situation where we can connect to Access Point, we see the file there, but we cannot open them through IE plugin ("Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"), when trying to open it through Ajax we get "No connection", also cannot download the files. Files CAN be opened by locally installed QV, by "Open in server"...

What could be messed up with the server?

Upgrade from QVS v9 to v10 - opening files problem

Hi

I suggest to remove all the entries from registry for V9 and then recheck by restarting services.

Also if you get "no connection" error then to resolve this

you can go to qemc-->system tab --> setup --> expand qlikview server --> go to security tab --> select allow anonomous.

Restart the services and try agin.

One more major input - the QVS is working as a cluster, and when we switch off the clustering it works OK, but when the add a cluster (in QEMC in Cluster tab) than we have the situation described by me in first post...

Just try to remove all the entries from registry from all the clusters and check the results.
