We currently submit all of our Publisher tasks through EDX triggers. We are going to be moving to a clustered Distribution Service environment with QlikView 10 SR4. I am interested in how the EDX tasks work within a clustered Distribution Service. The EDX tasks are triggered by making a call to a specific Distribution Service on a specific server (http://<server_name>:4720/qtxs.asmx). This would lead me to believe that the tasks will only run on the Distribution Service that the EDX task is invoked on. How do you trigger the EDX tasks to still have corresponding tasks load balanced throughout the environment?
