Windows services used by Qlikview Desktop , Qlikview Server and Qlikview Publisher

Hi All,

I wanted to know which Windows services are used/consumed by Qlikview Desktop, Qlikview server and Qlikview Publisher respectively. . .

Hi Brijesh,

Not cleared with what do you mean by window service,but when you instal QlikView Server, following services available in

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\services.lnk

I have attached the snapshot for your reference.

let me make it more clear...

As per clients internal network process of server hardening, they will switched off all the  WINDOWS services on Qlikview server.

I requires list of WINDOWS services which are necessary for correct functioning of Qlikview Desktop/Server after installation process.

Windows Server :  WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 ENTERPRISE SP1

QLIKVIEW SERVER V 11

Hi Brijesh,

You will find the QlikView services in the Service Managers. However, this doesn't show all the Windows services that QlikView might touch or use.

  I would make sure you show the Customer everything working before they start their "Hardening". That way if they break it, they fix it.
