how to check object visibility

Is it possible to check whether an object on active sheet is visible or hidden?

Hi,

     Right click on the sheet -> Properties -> Objects 

     Here you will find all the objects and their respective property, Here "ShowMode" will tell you whether its visible or hidden.

One way to check is like below

Using CTRL-SHIFT-S you can toggle between showing all objects and hiding those in hidden mode. It's one of my favorite commands!

Thanks for the reply,

I'm familiar to the option you people have explained. But I want to check it in one of the graph and set its value accordingly. Its value changes based on visibility of some other object next to it.

Hi,

try to insert in a text object the expression of Layout -> Conditional Show of the object.

if the expression = 1 then the object is visible, else no.
