Discussion Board for collaboration on QlikView Scripting.
I'm writing a simple prettifier (handles only specific but useful cases) for QlikView scripts. It would be a whole lot easier and more accurate with access to the full BNF (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backus%E2%80%93Naur_Form) syntax for scripts.
Does such a beast exist in the wild? Even just an accurate spec of field name allowable characters would be helpful, do you have any pointers where to find this?
Go to Solution.
Press CTRL+Q , CTRL+B, CTRL+N, CTRL+F while in the script or expression editor.
Totally agree this would be very useful to have!
Have you had an answer I will also be interested in
What is that combination supposed to do?
Open a popup window with the BNF of the qlikview script syntax.
Got it - that is really useful, thanks.
Do you have or do you know where I can find a list of these kinds of QlikView secret handshake commands???
Wassenaar, you are a star mate!! Thanks much appreciated!!!
