Binary load a qvw from server

Hi experts,

We have some QVW published on the server which we can access them via our account.

I wonder whether we can create new application and use the qvw as data source (and do application development) on top of it.

The server path is sth as below

qvp://server123/QVFileFolders/HR/QV-HR-Model.qvw

NO, In accesspoint we can't think anything. That is just page URL where Dashboard can visible for stake holders / Business.

So, no tools / ways to use this a data source? Since I can't access the load script and make changes on it. I can't even add mapping table to revise some grouping.
Any idea will be greatly helpful.

if you have read access to the document folder on production server (where your data model resides),  you can read the data model QVW file as binary app in your current application.

note: generally companies won't provide  production access to developers. Check with your admin to get permissions.

You can't binary load from the access point or from a qvp:// path. You need to have file system access to the source qvw from which you would like to binary load.

This assumes that you have the necessary rights on the file system path and the qvw, and that binary loads have not been disallowed in the source document.
