Can you set up a time limit for using QlikView desktop?

Hi there,

I want to offer possible clients to test my QlikView template for 30 days (Desktop). So I was wondering: Is there a way to limit the usability for 30 days? Maybe with the help of limiting theuser rights?  I couldn't find any threads dealing with this matter. Many thanks for ideas on this .

Cheers, Ingo

An alternative solution is to put a 30 dates section access script into the hidden script part of your application. If you also configure your client with USER access and configure the web to limit access for users then you should be pretty safe.

You won't limit the application to 30 days of usage, but they will only se 30 days of data starting from your defined start date.
Please ekskuse my Norglish and Swenglish typos.

Thanks. But unfortunately this is not good enough. I need a solution that restricts the usage of all objects to 30 days.

You may construct a table with user and Expiry-Date.

All Sheets then may be made visible on the check-condition TODAY() < ExpiryDate

If you then further restrict other security-conditions, users may still be able to open the app, but will not see any data ....

Else data to be placed on a server. There you have this funtionality.
