DB2 as Data Source for QlikView

Hello,

we want connect our QlikView (64-bit) with a DB2 database (32-bit). Which interface/connector is the best for this constellation and how should we configure it?

Thanks and regards,

Heiko

i believe using Oledb or odbc conneection u can connect to DB2.connector required for SAP.

If u have native Client of db2 installed .then u may be able to connect.

Thanks

Are you using QV10 or QV9?

If you're using QV10 you can check "force 32 bit" in order for QV to be able to use the 32 bits ODBC.

Heiko,

This partly depends on where your db2 database is hosted.  If you run db2 on the AS/400 then Client Access provides  an ODBC driver that is very easy to use from Qlikview.  There is also a db2 connector product available which provides an ODBC driver for access to db2 on a windows server.
