Data connection name includes user name

Hey,

I've been using a folder data connection to load my QVD's and text files where I keep my load scripts, and everything works fine (Qlik sense server).

I'm using the structure

Let path_variable ='lib://[folder data connection name]/path';

However, Qlik Sense forces the data connection name I create, through the load script editor, to include the name of the user who created it. This means that my connection name looks like "[the name I want] ([my user name])".

I can't even remove the parenthesis with the user name afterwards.

Can anyone tell me why this is added?

Is there a way to create a folder connection, without it including my user name in it?

Thanks

Since I posted this I went to a Qlik management course.

Looks like this behaviour is not configurable. The reason is to prevent different developers to override data connections by mistake.

However, once the data connection is created, you can change the name through the QMC -> Data Connections.

I'm facing the same problem.

I hope there is a way to configure QMC to change that behavior.
