Gauge will not display the major units on perimeter when change from 6 to 7 parts

I have a gauge which has 6 Major units. When I change it to 7 major units the major units are no longer displayed around the edge of the gauge.

I have other gauges this works just fine on but one gauge is giving me grief.

Anyone have any thoughts?

What I found is the gauge setting max had to be altered to get the scale to show on the gauge.  Does anyone know the logic behind this in the gauge display?
