Google BigQuery Connection Error - Qlik Community

Running Window 7 Prof 64 bit and just installed QlickView x64 and BigQuery connector.

After entering Client Id and Client Secret and click Authorize, I got the follow error, any idea how to get it fixed? Thanks.

I believe I have solve this issue by installed .NET framework 4.

Here comes the updates,

the document wasn't clear how to create a Client ID, specifically what "application type" on the Google side. I was creating a service account and never be able to find the client secret. Tried "Web Application" (will lead to "Error: redirect_uri_mismatch" after authenticated), and finally got it by creating a Client id for "Installed App".

It was a frustrating 2 hours but I am glad I am able to get it finally!

Hi Steven,

it seems that I have very similar error as you. But unfortunetaly even newest v ersion of .NET didn't resolve the problem.

This is my configuration:

.NET 4.5,
using Client ID for "Installed APP",
QlikView 11 and Google BigQuery Connector installed.

When I click on Authorize in QlikView I see my project from Google but I cannot see any DataSets. Billing (on the Google's side is not enabled). Maybe I should do something more on the Google's side to see sample data sets (eg. natality)? If yes - can you tell me how can I connect to sample data sets without enabling Billing?

I have billing enabled on google side. For your problem, I will first make sure you are truely authenticated.

I'm putting this experiment on hold due to other work priorities. My comment/conclusion at this point is both Qlik BigQuery and BigQuery are not very mature yet. The demo clips make the entire integration looks easy, but it is not easy at all in my experience. They are interesting products, but better be prepared to spend lots of extra hours.

I am seeing similar symptoms (i.e. after authenticating I see my Google project, but get a QV exception when clicking on the Google project in the dialog box shown by the BigQuery connector).

The exception says:
