How to pass user name and password from external script file to qvw file.

Hi

        I m using section access in my a.qvw file. For daily loading i have written a batch file which call a.qvw for load by this statement-

         "C:\Program Files\QlikView\qv.exe" /r a.qvw.  Since i m using section access in a.qvw, its ask for user name and password.

          How to pass user name and password from batch file itself .

I'm not aware of this being possible, however you should be able to modify your section access to include NTNAME and then add an entry for the user account the batch file reload will be run under.

Do you have a Qlikview server. Its easy to run the application from Qlikview Server.

If you don't have then you might have the licenses for the developer. Add the licenses in you section Access.

you will find the field as SERIAL. Add you licenses number to it.
