INPUTFIELD fails on Resident Load

Hi

New to INPUTFIELDS, I've so far caught up with the fact that it's the last thing that you must do in your script.

With that finally working, I've run into an unexpected behaviour: if I alias the Input Field from a resident table it does not work, but if I load from a qvd it works. (Please see model attached.)

Is this how it should work, is it is a bug?? I'm on QV10 SR3.

I have the same problem with 8.5 version
