Limit straight table by expression field values

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to limit rows that are displayed in a straight table based off of their value for a specific expression. This calculated expression field contains dollar amounts and I would like to only show rows with dollar amounts over $50,000 and under negative $50,000. Is this possible?

Thanks.

You could use a calculated dimension - how it worked see here: http://community.qlik.com/blogs/qlikviewdesignblog/2014/04/08/calculated-dimensions

For some reason my expression is not working as a calculated dimension. Is it because I am using set analysis?

Do you want to share an example ?

This worked with set analysis, too. Maybe there are some syntax issues. Try to simplify your expression, split it in smaller parts and test it. If these parts work then you could put them together.

You can also try to use dimension limits. This are relative limits not absolute, but still come in very handy and are safer than having a fixed amount as a limit.
