I am trying to load a protected excel file. I saw that there have been discussions about this issue and the best answer is to keep the file open while the data is loading into QlikView. It doesn't make sense to managers to open the excel file to load the data into the dashboards. Can we put the password into the connection string somewhere?
We might use scheduled reload in the future so it's impossible to open the file while the loading process is happening.
