Location of custom connector on the server

Is it the same as on the client: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\QlikTech\Custom Data ?

Yes, should look like

C:\Program Files\Common\QlikTech\Custom Data\QlikView\SAP Connector\

[Program Files folder may be named differently depending on your OS]
