My date is not shown correct, maybe script error

Hi all,

I have a field in my xls stating the date in the format DD-MM-YYYY and when I display this it simply write a value.

I have tried to use the table list to give me the correct value, but without luck.

If I in the script write

date(date#([my date], 'DD-MM-YYYY'), 'DD-MM-YYYY') as MyDate,

I get the same problem.... why is that?

Date format is one of QlikView big issue. To best understand this issue please poast sample data with xls file

Hi

  Check in source where that date field having number or text format

  or else provide sample data

Stupid me, I looked in the xls and changed the format, saved it... and did a reload.....

Now it works
