ODBC read railed

Hi All,

I'm loading data from Oracle database but when i hit the the reload button getting the error "ODBC read failed".

Any idea what is wrong and hot to fix it.

sometimes i got this error if one fieldname is twice in one table.

check your aliases.

Remove the connection string and recreate the connection string...

SQL query is running in but when i use the same query in Qlikiview script editor, i am getting the error.

you mean the QlikView log file. Due to some reason i can't share it but i looked at the log file , not enough infomrmation. Thanks

I've gotten that error when there's been a mismatch between the driver and the settings that I'm using for the connection.  In the script editor, there is a checkbox that says "Force 32-bit".  Have you tried changing your settings there?

Hi, yes i tired to reload after changing the Force 32 bit option but still getting the same error.

IS the ODBC connection getting established, if yes, can you use select button and tell us if you can see the tables ?
