I found a way to do this in the free Quikview software using a script and PDFCreator print driver. I know it has been discussed before in these forums, and I found this blog post which discusses how to do this:

You add this script to the Tools -> Edit Module. Then you make some minor tweaks to the script to work with your reports, set up the basic format of the file name, and save location.
I works great and created automatically named PDFs based upon the values used for banding the report. I just wish I could update my previous posts with this discovery.
