Hi Marks,

if you have created a prj-folder for your application, you can restore your .qvw. The procedure is described more in detail in the following thread How to bring prj file back to qvw?

Best Regards

Alexander

unfortunately in my case there is no prj -folder for my application, more over the application was built on Qlikview 8 i guess and changes have been made regulary to this application, currently it is being developed further on QV 11.2.

Best Practice would be to tick the 'Use Backup' box under User Preferences, or to have a proper version control strategy. No help to you now, but it does focus the mind for future projects.

Your last hope may be to look at  C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikView folder and see if there's a copy of the last AUTOSAVED file.
