Reduce Data during Binary Load

Hi,

I would like control data size during binary load(Ex specific department data during Binary load)

Ex: My computer is 4GB RAM and I have Qlikmart uncompressed size is 4.9GB and Compressed format it is close 1GB file.

When I load Binary load of that Qlikmart some times my system getting hang, I would like to See there is any process to control data during binary load (Not after/before load into application), I mean i want in run time.

no way during the bin load, as far as I know. Only workarounds like you still mentioned.

Shortly you cant do that

Binary load is so fast because all data is load at one time without transformation or further checking

There is no way to control your data through binary load. You have to do optimize your script.

Thanks all, Then probably i need to break that Qlikmart into small qlikmarts.
