Section Access Default on Opening Document

Hi All,

I've applied section access to my Qlikview documents and upon reloading, closing and re-opening my files the only NTNAME I can view in a listbox is for my own desktop.  However after reloading any of my Qlikview documents I can see the full list of NTNAME's in a listbox.  This list defaults back to my own desktop's NTNAME once I close and re-open the file.

I'm not sure what's happened as this is only a recent occurrence.

I'm assuming there's some user preferences to update however I've had no luck figuring it out.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

As far as i know that is by default...as soon as you reload you will see full list..because after reload i guess it resets the property called "initial data reduction on section access" which is under document properties >> opening.

Reopening after save and close will initiates the reduction or section access part..

I've just done a brief test to un-tick "initial data reduction on section access" and re-opened to find the full list now appears.

Are there any implications leaving this un-ticked and then publishing online, given the section access script is still run?

it will run, but i dont think reduction of data will happen if you untick..

if that is what you want you can untick that option.

I am also facing a similar kind of issue. I have section access applied on a particular sheet of the application. After reloading, correct data  is displayed on that tab. But when I close and reopen the application, data on that tab is halved. How can I resolve this issue?
