Section Access - Is it breakable?

The Section Access functionality is working fine, but I wonder whether it is possible to break into an applications admin features (full control) if you have the file available on your disk?

It could become quite a problem allowing download of apps with sensitive data, if they can be cracked using a hex editor or by brute force.

It is my understand no. I have been told not even R&D can not get your document back if you lose the password, or mess up Section Access and can not get back into the document.

How there's no brute force attack?

I guess it's because the encryption algorithm is unknown. It is always a bad strategy used by Microsoft in the past, because one day someone will find the algorithm.

The encryption should always be based on the key.

Well, nothing is100% secure, allright?

I wouldn´t allow download applications that has sensitive data.

If is really a requirement, I recomend buying Publisher that reduces app data personalized to each user.
