Selecting 1 record from 2 possible by comparing the two

I have 2 tables:

CARD:

Card_ID

SETUP_DT

CLEANUP_DT

SELECTED_CARD:

CARD_ID

CASE_COMFIRMATION_ID

Sometimes more then one card is selected per confirmation_id I I want to only grab the larger of the setup and clean up times.

If a card has a 15 minute setup time and another 30 minute cleanup time then the 30 minute one is the only one selected.
