Hi,
For the organization I'm working for I want to analyze auction figures. The files are in TTX and can be read by Qlikview.
When I change the separation from ";" (semicolon) to "\t" (tab) Qlikview automatically changes it back to the semicolon. Even if the change (' \t ') is mentioned in the script. How can I force Qlikview to pick the "tab" seperation?
Thanks in advance
post a sample of your txt file:)
Hi,
Hereby a sample file.
P.s. it's really an TTX-file (Used for reading auction (flowers) numbers)
how you create your script? by wizard?
Hi Pari Pari
I've created the script without the wizard, I've directly add the files to the script.
are you sure you've got:
(txt, codepage is 1250, embedded labels, delimiter is '\t', msq);
??
This is what I got:
(txt, codepage is 1252, embedded labels, delimiter is '\t', msq);
Still, after reloading, it says: '\t' but uses ';'
i can't find ";" in your txt file:)
That's correct , me neither .
After looking at it again it's not using the ';' command but still I can't use formulas with the numbers I've got.
Thanks for your time, it must be some other failure.
which formulas cant you use?
