Start QV from Excel

Gents,

has anyone experience with creating a button in excel from which a specific QV sheet can be started?

This should be done from a laptop with QV installed on it as standalone.

Shouldn't be too hard. Add a button and add to the onclick event handler code with set Qv = CreateObject("QlikTech.QlikView") to start a qlikview instance.

Okay thx so far! Can a specific QV sheet be inserted and started in 1 go from the Excel button?
