Suddenly no log_files anymore!?


Hi,

I have a problem: Just now QlikView suddenly stopped - in the case of two apps anyway, which I was working on, fine-tuning a new code - to write log_files. The checkbox is ticked, nothing has changed at all, but no log_files are created. I already deleted the old ones, but to no avail.

No I have to abandon this for today at least, I cannot develop without logs.

Can anybody give me a hint there?

Hi,

Is it document log or server log.

If it is server, you can try by repairing from your QlikView Server setup.

Hi,

this is solved I guess.

QlikView was hung up - something with the DistributionService - we restarted the service as we had done before and all was fine again.
