Hi all,
currently I'm facing an issue with (german) UTF8 characters not being displayed correctly. My app pulls
data from MS-SQL (works as expected) and from mysql (borking up the german mutated vowels), both using ODBC.
I am aware of several post in this forum discussing similar issues.
So far I have tried:
- setting character set in ODBC settings
- using convert (field, latin1)
- using COLLATE statement in SQL
none of these steps worked out so far.
I'd highly aprreciate any hint you guys could provide on how to fix this issue.
