Unable to login to access point after domain change

Dear Friends

We have undergone a change in our domain name recently.

Post which users are not able to login to access point.

Earlier we were using abcd\employeenumber as our username. Now we have pqrs as our domain.

We have provided the path LDAP://pqrs.in  in the systems -> tab of QMC.

When we try to provide the document CALs n User Document tab for a document if we search a particular EmpNumber ,it shows up. (This shows we are able to connect to the Active Directory and assign the CALs to the user) But domain name is not displayed, only the employeenumber is displayed.

Now when the user tries to login to access point the username and password goes blank.

Kindly help if we are missing any steps to allow access for the users to access point.

Kindly let me know if any more information is required .

Thanks & Regards

Niranjan

Hi,

What is the error which user is getting. Also tell us how are they trying to login. (Within Domain or out side domain)

Also check if you can login on access point on server with the user.

Make sure that you try both the below thing in username

Only username  and Domain\Username.

Hi Kaushik

1)When the user tries to login to access point the username and password goes blank after loading for few seconds.

2)Not able to login to the access point on server.

3)Tried with both only employeenumber and domain\employeenumber.

Is the authentication not done ? Any other settings which is being missed?

Thanks & Regards

Niranjan

Hi Kaushik

Alternate login page radio button is checked.

But in  QMC->System -> Setup - >Web Server -> Authentication -> Authrntication -> Login. there are no credentials entered.

Which login credentials should be mentioned here.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

It is also the Radio Button.

QMC->System -> Setup - >Web Server -> Authentication -> Authentication -> Login.

On the same page where you did alternate login page setting.

Please check whether you provide access to user or not?

If yes check Go to System ->Qlikview Server-->CAls tab --->General tab

and check there is radio button active for Identification by username.

Hope it helps
