What is more efficient SUM(FieldA)*Constant or SUM(FieldA*Constant)?

What is more efficient between SUM(FieldA)*Constant and SUM(FieldA*Constant)?

I would believe that SUM(FieldA)*Constant should be better because the other option will perform the multiplication on each row and then sum it.... whereas in this case, it sums and only perform multiplication once.
