header row in straight table

Hi Team,

I need to add header row in straight table something like this,

   

Column 1Column 2
sub column 1 sub column 2sub column 3sub column 2sub column 3

kindly provide solution asap.

Why don't you use pivot table instead?

As Sunny already mentioned, the solution is to use a Pivot Table.

QlikView Straight Tables don't support hierarchical headers.

You should be able to do that in pivot table (although with some brute force )

For a pivot table to display totals, use Subtotals in the Presentation tab.

It will give me total for all the subcolumn in the table....But my requirement is something like i need Total for particular sub column for example sub column 2 in Column 1 and sub column 3 in Colunm  2.

Like I said, with some brute force, anything is possible in a pivot table
