Hi all!
I have too much logs on my reports after reload (In Settings-> Document Properties->Generate logfile).
I want to change the path of the log folders from the existing location with my reports (.qvw) to a new location (without my .qvw). But i can't find where i should change this path.
Could you help me with this problems?
Hi , We can't change the location for .qvw logfile which was created by reload task. The workaround, please uncheck the Timestamp in Logfile Name in the Document Properties --> General. So we have only one Log file in the qvw folder.
There is another option, create a batch file, to move all the log files form qvw folder into another location.
Hi Kseniyam,
I had a look at previous QlikCommunity discussions on this topic and it seems that it is only possible with services like web server, QVS et cetera.
What I would recommend is have a a vb script run on your qvw after reload to move the file from its current location to the location you want.
Check out this link for options on the type of move you want to do. Let me know if you come right mate
Copy and Move files and folders
Cheers,
Byron

I think you can't. It's a fixed location equal to your QlikView document.
You can write a move statement in a batch file and execute that batch file after the load of the QlikView document.
Something like:
move /Y QVD_extractor.qvw.log Log\QVD_extractor.qvw.log >nul
in a .bat file
Thanks! It is too sad)
