security by data level

Hi,

I just want to ask if we can have security by data level using section access or the like? A particular user can only access specific data in a table. Does anybody has a sample QV application for this issue.

See if this example helps , the user's for it are

ACCESS, USERID, PASSWORD, COMPANY,OFFICE

ADMIN, ADMIN, ADMIN, ,

USER, POWERUSER, LETMEIN, , OFFICE_X

USER, ABC, ABC, X , OFFICE_X

USER, XYZ, XYZ, Y ,OFFICE_Y ];

I have one last question for this post, can we have security by menu level? like, one user cannot access certain submenu (i.e edit script) while other user can open edit script. thanks
