Hi !!

I want to create a pivot table that shows the total of the salaries for job. like dimension i choose "job" and i use the expression "Sum(Salaries)" , but i obtain the same salary value for each "job"...so i think that i made a mistake in the expression...so someone can tell me the correct string that i have to use??

do you have the fields Job and Salary in same table?

I think it is better to check the data first.

If possible pls post a sample qvw with data.

It sounds like either your dimension or fact is not joined properly or you are performing an inaccurate join which is causing the issue.

I would start by validating the data model

HI GABRIELE

Here the Problem is JOB filed don`t have repeated values means jobs,

Thats y it is showing same value for every job

But u will get the sum at the END ,

In Table charts if the JOB value is repeating then U will caluculate the sum by using GROUP BY Job filed. using AGGR function like

Aggr(sum(salary),job)

I would go with FShanaghy

Because I had a same issue which I have rectified via the data model.
