text object selections

Hi all,

      i have two text object buttons i.e TODAY and YESTERDAY. My problem is when i click on Today or Yesterday its get selected but when i clear selections my default selection should be Today by default. How Can we do this??

Are you using a button for clear or QlikView's default clear?

Hi,

if you are doing clear all using a button with action ->clear all.

Then add another action to make the like what is the default value you want.

Use button with clear all action and add select in field action after it.

I am using button as clear

You can set the 'Clear State' to be something other than nothing selected.

• Clear all selections
• Select Today
• Click Selections | Set Clear State
• Save the file

Now when you click Clear All, all fields will be cleared except that Today will be selected.
