Load encrypted text(passoerd of database connection) from excel and make databse connection with

Dear Team,

We have some security concerns.

ONce configuration excel file is present where database parameters will be provided by client in below forma:

USERNAME  PASSWORD   HOSTNAME      SERVICENAME

ABC                XXXXXXX          ABC.US.EARTH             TEST

Here client wants to provide the password in ËNCRYPTED"" TExt ..

This file nneds to be loaded in qlikview and make connection withese credentials to database and do DIRRECT QUERY .

Please suggest how can qlikview read the encryptedtext  ,decrypt in qlikivew to make successful  connection.

Please help as they are driving us for qlikview acceptance as part of product use.

I think you'll need to ask the client how they encrypt it and how they recommend you decrypt/use it

Whatever the outcome, please try to convince your prospect to not consider this minor technical issue (a suitable solution will be found in any case) as a stumbling block for buying QlikView.
