Restricting the tabs

Hi,

I have a dashboard of 15 sheets which contain data for 10 Customers.

In the dashboard for one customer a particular sheet data is not available.

Eg : Dashboard contains data for 10 regions in 10 different sheets

Customer A has data for All regions

Customer B has data for only 5 regions which is Applicable and need to be shown, Other tabs should not be displayed

How to restrict it .

Thanks in advance.

You can accomplish this by using section access and setting a parameter(s) per user/group.  Then use this parameter as a show condition at the sheet level.

A couple of things to note, this field/parameter you create must be after SECTION APPLICATION; or else it will be hidden from view for security purposes.  Also, since this is customer sensitive information (and I am not sure if this is a SaaS based solution), make sure to restrict access to this document and utilize the roles within section access to restrict 'USERS' from being able to remove security restrictions.

The easiest thing to do in this case would be to use a Show Condition for your sheets, so as to make it visible only when there is available data.

Hope this helps

You could use osuser() as "soft" show condition. Are these data are confidental then you need section access.
