I happened to noticed that an internal user (who does not have any CAL) is able to go to open QVWs thru web browser (Access Point). I have checked everything I can think of, such as Windows AD group (we use NTFS authorization), folder security etc, they are all correct. In fact, this user is not able to use Windows Explorer to access the folder where those QVW are stored. We do not use SSO or any ticketing system. And we use Qlikview web server, not IIS. What could be the cause?

Never mind. The issue has been solved. This user was added into a wrong AD group by mistake.

Look in the QVS Session log to see what kind of license was used by the session.
