How can i do at QMC please help me its urjent.
Please tell me the steps for doing this.
Do you use QlikView Server and Publisher?
Or just QlikView Server?
When you say Windows Sec group, I guess you mean a local security group on the machine? Or is it a Domain Sec group?
You have to configre so you can specify the group, via setting it up under Directory Service.
This way you can search the group and add it to the document,
Hi,
If you have publisher you can do this with ease. You assign the users to a document and this will set NTFS permissions when the document is distributed. Now if you don't have publisher you can manually setup the NTFS permission on the files, but I find the easy way is to put the QVS in DMS mode and assign users to the document under the Authorization tab under User Documents.

You need to Go to Qlikview document file properties.
- Next, go to Security Tab where we can found Group or user name list for that qlikview file.
Just Go to Advance.
-Inside Advance in the Permission tab select Users to change the permission by clicking Change Permissions button.
- After making selection of change permission new screen will pop-up.
-Select Users and then just Uncheck the check box in the bottom.
- One pop up window will generate now click add.
- Again select Users then click on the remove button to remove the Users from the permission list. After that you can add the New user.
Note : The New user you are adding can that user can only see that document on access point ( +Administrator can also view the document. While doing Windows Securtiy its important to uncheck the check box for the Users group as mentioned in the above step. Also take a backup of your file.

It's worth mentioning that using DMS authentication as mentioned by Bill Britt will only work for sites that have QlikView Enterprise Server licences.
QlikView Small Business Server disables DMS authentication
You can check this in the LEF file look for DISABLE_DMS;YES;;
