Execution finished but QV Document was not updated.

Version 11.20.12354 SR6

Two datapump applications that have ran for long time. Last change was on 12 days ago and they ran well for 10 days and now they have the problem.

Last line in log file is "Execution finished" but the application was not updated. The last update date is still two days ago.

We had the same issue before and that was caused by the hard disk space. So we checked that first and we have over 100 GB space left so definitely not because of that.

My question is that what will be the possible reason to cause this apart from lacking of hard disk space?

This issue terrible affect us because we run the datapump by a batch file. If they don't save and close, the batch file for the next day will not run and will show ""

Thanks Alejandra,

we have found the reason. Someone check the "Keep progress open after reload" under user preference. That cause the QV applications not closed after reload.

I don't know where is wrong but I can't type or edit my initial discuss. It stopped while I haven't finished.

Windows schedule task will not run if the previous one is still running and I don't want to run the task parallel.

Can anyone give any idea please?

Thanks.

It's like suddenly all the QV applications have this issue. Windows schedule task run batches and the batches start to reload QV applications. They reload without any problem and the log shows finish. However they can't be saved / updated.

Maybe is the ram memory. Sometimes your script tables occupies to much memory, try dropping fields or tables you don't use
