Hi,

you can buy any number of Licence.

3 named cals will be sufficient.

But as per Qlik policy the minimum quantity can be ordered is 5

Go through the attached document for more details.

suppose i have 5 document Cals and 1 enterprise edition server then on how many browsers(mobiles, tablets and desktop browsers )  will i be able to view the reports or dashboards.

Hi

you can view on all browsers but one session active at a time.

The difference between named cal and document cal is that

If you have Named cal then you can have access to any number of documents

and if you have document cal then it will 1 licence per document

In short

Named Cal 1:N Ratio

Document Cal 1:1 Ratio.

Hi, Amit.

I agree with tresesco's assessment. But it might be worth clarifying whether all the 100 users wish to actively use the dashboard or are some users simply interested in the overall figures. Often, businesses will overestimate the number of CALs required by simply assuming every user needs one.

For instance - does a CEO or Department Head need one ? Probably not - they have staff to dig around in QlikView for them. They may just want a few headline figures, in which case think about sending a static report to them from QlikView instead and save on the CAL costs.

Regards,

Neil
