Alert emails for failed Publisher reloads are configred in QMC > System > Setup > Distribution Services > QDS@servername > Alert email tab. Refer to QlikView Help entry Alert E-mail for further information.

thank you chip-matejowsky, when I get to the Distribution Services node there is nothing there, I mean there are no tabs visible / available. I don't know if it matters but we do not use Publisher.

No, we don't, but thank you.
@NenadV I am basing this on that you don't have the Alert tab and you do have a distribution server folder in the QMC. However the folder is empty witch is odd. Note that a SLK license always include a publisher license.
