"DisplayGridlines" property is not functioning in VB Script(Macro)

I wrote the following to make the grid in excel disappear..........but in vain.

The error - "The ActiveWindow object does not support this property"

ExcelDoc.ActiveWindow.DisplayGridlines = False

Help me out.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
