use of an extern file location for storage qlikview data

Hi,

I am currently using one server with qlikview server and all the data and qv documents stored.

I want change this architecture to 2 servers, one containing QV server and accesspoint, on the other local Qlikview for development

I want to store all the data and QV documents outside these servers on a file location so that both environments can access the same data when needed. Is this a good solution in regards to performance or is it better to have it stored on the server itself?

Hi Linda,

Having data and QV documents on a separate location is always the best when it comes to performance, just make sure both can access it.
