Moving Unpublished/Unapproved sheets from one app to another

I had an app published to our main dashboard. Someone wanted a column added to the app so I duplicated the app, added the column and moved it to production. The app that was already in production I moved it to our repository. When the new app was published someone contacted me and said they had important sheets, stories and bookmarks in the app that they needed. How can I move all their stuff into the new app? Whenever I duplicate the app I lose all their sheets.

I solved this issue. I was not able to move their information but I was able to replace the app which kept their information.

Hi @CrysiiD_BI , did you accomplish this by duplicating the published app, making the changes you needed, and then republishing it?

Yes @Lauri 

When you go to republish make sure you click the replace existing app so that it'll keep the user sheets and bookmarks.
