Error Message : Failed to contact the license server.

Hi team,

We're looking to uplift our servers to the correct software iteration and are having to do it via our development server.

As the first stage of this, we are logging into the QMC and attempting to set the Site License Properties of our Development server. 

 

Once entering the correct information that we have stored with us, it attempts to load for ~120 seconds before stopping and displaying an error with the following : Failed to contact the license server. 

The same occurs when we attempt to Get LEF and preview the license also, with the error "Failed to get LEF from server".

 

Any ideas on why this might be happening? Or how to proceed?

Since you cant use the LEF using this method , It sounds like you might have a Signed License Key serial number that you are using in the LEF section.

The best way forward is to contact Customer support so they can check the licnese for you. The easiest way is to click on the blue help bubble that is in the lower right corner on all support pages. More instruction can be found here

Since you cant use the LEF using this method , It sounds like you might have a Signed License Key serial number that you are using in the LEF section.
