Hello Qlik Community,
Our infrastructure team is planning to upgrade the stand-alone PostgreSQL database, which functions as the repository on our Qlik Sense server, to version 16.
Currently, we're running PostgreSQL 14, which was unbundled with QPI, and it's been working seamlessly for us.
However, we're concerned about whether upgrading PostgreSQL from version 14 to 16 might cause any issues with our Qlik Sense environment. I've searched for information on this, but the system requirements only mention support for versions 14.x and 13.x, with no reference to higher versions.
Has anyone experienced this upgrade, or can you provide any insights?
Thanks in advance for your help!

@Farshad_Razor what version of QS are you running?
We are running Qlik Sense Enterprise November 2023 Patch 9.
The latest version of QS (May 24) also lists 14.x as the highest Postgres it supports...
@Sebastian_Linser are you aware of 16 being supported in upcoming releases??
Hello all,
The currently supported PostgreSQL versions can be found in our System Requirements (example for May 2024). I have reached out to Sebastian to see if we can get more information about 16.
All the best,
Sonja
Review the System Requirements for your release of Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows to verify what version of PostgreSQL is supported.
Thank you for the confirmation! We'll pass this information along to our infrastructure team and keep an eye on the upcoming Qlik release.
Also, thanks to everyone else in the thread for your assistance.
Anytime!
