Hi,
i have created a Security Rule to give certain permission for some users.
I will try to explain the problem.
I want give the permissions that are set in SECURITY_RULE_1 to USER_A, after that, i want delete that permissions.
1. USER_A doesn't have the permissions.
2. I assign SECURITY_RULE_1 to USER_A.
3. USER_A has the permissions instantly.
4. I deallocate SECURITY_RULE_1 to USER_A, even i delete SECURITY_RULE_1 from the server.
5. USER_A still has the permissions. If leaves from QS and go in, still has them.
Permissions take a long time to get lost.
Is there a way to make the user's permissions update in that moment?
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
If you are on a multi node environment this behavior along with others can be due to database listeners being silently killed.
I would suggest to take a look at this article https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/How-To-Check-For-Missing-Database-Listeners-in-Qlik-Sen...
Hope this helps!
Hello,
this is not my case. I have a single server, a single node.
In any case, I'll keep an eye on it in case it gives me any idea what might be going on.
Thank you!
